Weight Inclusive Alberta (WIA) is an online directory connecting Albertans to health and wellness providers who are weight inclusive and adhere to the criteria we set out. We also have a number of other projects which are listed below.
WIA aims to support Albertans in finding respectful providers within the province. We strive to create a network of professionals and physicians dedicated to serving Albertans with structurally competent care and without stigma.
Since 2024, WIA has also taken on Fat Liberation work in other areas. To explore more, please scroll to the "Other Resources and Projects" tab. :)
